The Education and Planning Branch Directorate carries out activities related to personnel planning and reporting across the University. Within this scope, it coordinates the collection and processing of required data, its evaluation by the relevant commissions and designated personnel, and the implementation of resulting plans.
The Branch Directorate also coordinates the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of:
- in-house support and collaborative learning programmes;
- orientation programmes; and
- basic and preparatory training programmes for candidate civil servants.
In addition, the Branch Directorate carries out procedures concerning staff leave, trade union membership and withdrawal, trade union meetings, and asset declarations.
It also monitors and coordinates the quality assurance processes of the Directorate of Personnel Department.
