The Academic Personnel Affairs Branch Directorate carries out staffing and position-related procedures for academic staff employed at the units of our University. It is responsible for procedures concerning appointments, assignments, grade and step advancements, service adjustments, retirement, and separation from service.
The Branch Directorate also carries out personnel procedures concerning:
academic staff assigned pursuant to Articles 35 and 38 and Article 40/b of the Higher Education Law No. 2547;
foreign national academic staff employed on a contractual basis pursuant to Article 34 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and Article 16 of the Higher Education Personnel Law No. 2914;
postdoctoral researchers appointed pursuant to Additional Articles 34 and 46 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547; and
personnel assigned pursuant to Additional Article 25 of Decree Law No. 375.
The Branch Directorate also ensures that academic personnel records are maintained accurately and kept up to date.
